The Challenge

Dan, Nick, Ian, Karl and Huw are taking on an epic endurance challenge: the full 102 miles of the Cotswold Way, tackled in one continuous effort.

They’ll be aiming to complete the route within 30 hours, covering rugged countryside, mixed terrain, and an eye-watering 4,300 metres of elevation. It’s a truly gruelling test of physical and mental resilience with every mile demanding determination, teamwork and grit.

Why They’re Doing It

This challenge isn’t just about endurance. The quintet are raising money for The Bowel Movement, a charity dedicated to raising awareness of bowel cancer in young adults a group often overlooked, misdiagnosed, or diagnosed too late.

Bowel cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the UK, and rates among under-50s are rising. The Bowel Movement works to change this through education, awareness and advocacy. They also provide hardship grants to young adults living with bowel cancer to support them through their treatment and beyond.

The Charity’s Objectives

The Bowel Movement aims to:

  • Raise awareness of bowel cancer symptoms in younger adults
  • Challenge stigma and normalise conversations about bowel health
  • Empower people to recognise symptoms early and seek help
  • Support early diagnosis

This cause is deeply important because early awareness really can make the difference. By supporting this challenge, you’re helping ensure more people recognise symptoms, get checked sooner, and have better outcomes.

Every mile the team runs represents a conversation started, awareness raised, and lives potentially saved.

The Bowel Movement and everyone impacted by bowel cancer will be incredibly grateful for every donation, no matter the size. Your support helps fund vital awareness campaigns and ensures this important message reaches the people who need it most.

Thank you for supporting this incredible challenge and helping turn an epic physical feat into real, lasting impact 💜
